About Julia

Julia Morinaj is an advanced postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Research in School and Instruction at the Institute of Educational Science, University of Bern, Switzerland, and an EARLI SIG 8 ‘Motivation and Emotion’ JURE coordinator. She is a project leader in an intervention study ‘Well-Being in School in Switzerland’ (WESIR) funded by the SNSF to identify factors influencing the development of student and teacher well-being and to incorporate well-being strategies into classroom practices. Her research interests are well-being in school, school alienation, emotion and motivation, teacher–student relationships, whole-school approach, and mixed-methods and intervention studies.
